  what does search engine referer mean, what are search engine referers

  Sorry, I pressed submit before I was ready! What does it mean when it says that you had hits from search engines? Is it refering to Google, Yahoo etc or to WordPress? Thanks,

  It means that someone searched for something on a search engine (like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc), found one of your posts or the blog itself as a result, and clicked through to check it out.
