HI DOES ANYONR KNOW HOW TO MAKE YOUR SITE SHOW UP IN SERCH ENGINES?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Yes: wait.
Caps = shouting; don’t use them.
And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

@measuredline, you have one post and your blog has only been active for a day. It can take anywhere from 24 hours to as much as two weeks for the search engines to get around to your blog. Each time you publish a post, wordpress will “ping” all the major search engines though pingomatic to let them know you have published a new post.
Just keep posting and you will show up. Do realize though that it can take 6 months to a year (depending on how much traffic you get) to build up enough page rank to show up higher in searches, and if you are blogging on popular subjects, you will be competing with huge numbers of bloggers, so it takes some patience.
You might want to review this support document which has some very useful information on increasing traffic to your blog: http://support.wordpress.com/getting-more-views-and-traffic/ .

I have a problem with the way my posts appear in a Google search. Previously, when doing a Google search, the title of each post appeared as the Google entry (for example: Rallion – One For Sorrow <<Lori Gordon). Now, the posts show up in Google as (using the above example): 2009 August 17 << Lori Gordon.
Does anyone know why this is or if there is a way to change/correct it?
Thanks. -
Google is completely redoing their search engine stuff and until they get everything changed and sorted out. we are all getting the same sort of treatment.
What can you do to charge/correct it? Virtually zero, nada, zip, nothing. Until Google gets done rearranging their furniture, we all just have to live with it.

Having trouble setting up automated “ping” functionality in WordPress to Technorati. Someone said it is good to get noticed in search engines to ping, but I’m just trying to figure out how to automate?? Thanks!
-
If this is the blog you are talking about, http://investingcaffeine.com/ , wordpress.COM automatically pings all major search engines and services each time you publish a post, technorati included.
-
sidoxia, your blog is already in Google and Bing.

As tsp says, WordPress.com is already set up to notify the major search engines when you post.
