  How do I get my site http://www.martindrews.wordpress.com to be found by searchengines?

  They’ll find you. When you publish a post, pings are sent automatically unless you’ve changed the search engine setting in your dashboard. It’s under Options/Privacy. I think it took a day or so before my blog was in Google. HTH.

  Removing the ‘www’ from your URL would help as most search engines spiders won’t follow such a link. The ‘martindrews’ bit takes the place of the ‘www’ and they do not coexist.

  Do also note that since your user name isn’t connected with a link to your blog, chances are you’ve gone ahead and marked it as either private or not indexable by the engines. You may want to check that at Dashboard -> Options -> Privacy.

  thank you for fast reply. Ok, i have allowed searchengines find me. How do I do this with “www” ? i thought me url is not changeable by myself.

  Your URL is http://martindrews.wordpress.com/

  The “martindrews” part takes the place of the www.
