Hi Björn!
It looks like you created the site 3 days ago. WordPress.com automatically sends notifications to Google with every post and page update. However, search engines can take 4 to 6 weeks (or more) to add any new sites.
For more information about WordPress.com and search engines, please see this guide:
It will take a couple of days from the time you created your blog for it to show up in WordPress.com search results. For more information please see this link:
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Hi and thanks Grace!
Google is now showing my blog: bjornsminusblogg.com and I am happy for that.
But it also shows my previous address; bjornsminusblog.wordpress.com which I “killed” a few days ago.
Since this hit shows up first on Google it will be most often clicked one and then it will tell ” not longer exist”. If a reader then do not click the next address, bjornsminusblogg.com the reader might miss my blog.
Any way to get rid of the killed address on Google?
All the best,
Björn

Unfortunately, we have no control over what Google shows. It could take 3-6 months in general, and as long as it is there, and outranks your new site, it will show up higher in searches.
You can use Google webmaster tools and tell them to remove those old pages/posts/site from their indexes, but I’ve been told that it might or might not happen. It could take several weeks to even a couple months, and then it can magically reappear again later.
You would have to do the same thing with Bing and Yahoo. I’m sorry I couldn’t be of more help, but as long as your new site gains more and more traffic, you should be fine :)
