HI!
First: From your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings/Reading and make sure the box for “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” is not checked.
Second: it looks like you have a self-hosted WordPress site (also known as WordPress.org), so you’ll want to check out that support forum at https://wordpress.org/support/
To learn more about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org (self-hosted), take a look at http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

Thank you. I did try that about an hour ago and still no luck. Does it take more time for the search engines to find your site? Is their anything else I can do? I looked in the wordpress.org forums, but no luck. And I can’t find a place to start a new thread there. Thank you again for your help.

It’s hard to say exactly, but it will probably take a few days (not a few hours). You can also look into submitting your site to Google via Google Search Console.
