Search fields within WordPress site

    Hi,

I am just creating some pages using wordpress and I am wondering if it is possible to add two search fields on my homepage (These will reference a SQL database) I have MAMP installed and the SQL databases have been created within phpMyAdmin.

    Thanks!

This is the WordPress.COM support forum. You need to post to the WordPress.ORG support forum for help with your site because it is not hosted by WordPress.COM and we don’t provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs.

WordPress.com and WordPress.org are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
