Search Form Bug in Koi Theme

  Hello,
  When I recently changed my blog’s theme to Koi, I saw a problem in the search form.
  When I click on the Search textbox, the pre-written “Search” does not disappear (but it should, obviously). So I always have to first delete the word “Search” and then enter my keyword.

  I’ve stated the problem previously in the forums and a staff member said:

  This is because this theme pre-dates the HTML5 placeholder tag. As the tag has support in all modern browsers I have recommended we update the theme to use that tag.

  I have tried it on various latest browsers – Chrome, Firefox, Opera (with JS active). Same problem is on the page https://koidemo.wordpress.com/

  Kindly update the theme asap.
