Search Form Works in Draft Mode But Not After Published
-
My site is hosted by 1and1. I have two databases. One DB for my wordpress website and I created a new one for a database to search and return results into a table.
I created a search form in my wordpress “add new page” menu. When I did a preview in draft mode, the database connected and returned results perfectly here” http:thoroughbredadoptionnetwork.com/search.php. However, when I published the page live, here: http://www.thoroughbredadoptionnetwork.com/tattoo-research/tb-db/, the DB will not connect and returns results here: http://www.thoroughbredadoptionnetwork.com/tattoo-research/tb-db/search.php.
I am not quite sure what is going on since it worked perfectly in “draft” mode while doing a preview. I wonder if it has anything to do with searching a DB other than the one my website data is contained. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help. I am a newbie to PHP and to wordpress.
