Search function images badly aligned

Hello,
We are having problems with the search function on our site. Even though the search results seem fine, the featured image on the search result is always aligned far to the right hand side and only half is displayed when it should all be displayed in the middle.
Does anyone have any ideas why this could happening? Any help appreciated.
