search function locks up my computer

  When I do a search for something in the “all sites” field, it often just locks everything up and I have to manually close down all my internet windows. Anyone else experiencing this? I got off the “can and strings” connection long ago and am working in a high speed environment. Any thoughts?

  Which browser and version of it are your using please/
  Have you triied logging out, force clearing your browser cache and cookies and logging in again?
  So you have another browser you can try?
  Will you please post the link to the “searchbox” you are using?

  I am using Internet explorer 7. Will try to upgrade it to 8 at least.

  And no, I have not “force cleared”. Will try that too.

  The searchbox is just the one that appears on the top of my blog when I am logged in, along with the other tabs, My Account, My Blog, Subscribe, etc. so not sure what link to post.
