    Why is search case sensitive in the Greek language and how can I change it? What about accented vowels?

    That is a great question.

    Greek search can sometimes be case- or accent-sensitive, which means words like Αθήνα might not match αθηνα, or καφές may not match καφες. This happens because the built-in search doesn’t fully normalize Greek characters.

    Depending on your current plan, customization options are still limited — plugins that improve search handling (like Relevanssi) are only available on the Business plan or higher.

    If precise search behavior is important for your site, upgrading may be worth considering.
