Search not showing up

  I am a new blogger and I posted an entry with tags (Vineyard, blessings) this evening. But when I entered the search tags in the search box, my blog is not showing up. I have made my blog not searchable on Google, etc, but should that keep it from showing up in the WordPress search box too? Thanks for helping out this newbie, who is practically clueless about this blogging thing.

  Choosing to block search engines in your privacy settings will also remove your blog from WordPress global tags.

  From the support documentation:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/global-tags/

  Your blog is private. Check the Settings -> Privacy tab of your dashboard. You must choose the first option, I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, for your blog to be included in global tag listings.

  It should say, “Your blog is private, or you have blocked search engines.”
