Search page

    Hello,

The problem I am trying to solve is that mobile readers cannot search my blog, because the responsive CSS design hides the search bar on small screens.

One solution I can think of is to add a search page, and then add a link to that search page in the menu.

But I can’t figure out how to create a search page (or add a search widget to a page).

    Is this possible on wordpress.com?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is an available Search Widget you could use.

Dashboard > Widgets > drag and drop into your sidebar.

Save and you should be good to go. It would show up in the footer of your site for mobile readers.

Thanks, that works. Not the most intuitive place for my readers to find the search bar, but thank you.

Now I should remove the Search bar from my Header area cos now there’s two search bars. Haven’t figured out how to do that yet.
