Search produces zero results
-
It happens rather frequently that a search on a big well-known topic produces zero results, as in this case, when one day earlier it got them by the dozen.
I looked up “Madrid”. Here is what I gothttp://en.search.wordpress.com/?q=Madrid&t=post
How can that be?

!!
Now, when I checked the link above, it showed zero results, but in the sidebar there were tags that did show “Madrid”.In my first search this morning, the sidebar also had nothing to say.

Hi. I tried searching myself, and got 1000+ results… This is the URL that appeared on my address bar.

I’m starting to think that it depends on where you search from!
Right now, if I click on the the link in airodyssey’s post I get 145,885 results for Madrid.
If I search from the “Search WordPress.com” in the Admin Bar on the WordPress.com homepage I get 140,910 results for Madrid.
If I search from the WordPress.com News blog from “Search All Sites” in the Admin Bar, I get 150,552 results for Madrid!

I see.
It depends on the time and maybe on the diretion of the wind, because, when yesterday I clicked on the link that I myself gave in that first post, I also got 150,000 results, but right now, Friday morning 9 am local time Spain, I clicked again and got zero results and something “loading” in the sidebar where finally Madrid and related matters turned up as “tags”. -
