Search Results Page

I’m having a heck of a time figuring this out. I’m not even sure if it’s possible. The way that WordPress shows its search results works well for a blog site. However, WordPress is no longer only a blogging tool. I am using it as a full blown site management tool, and the search results page doesn’t work for that.

When you search for a page, all related pages show up, and that’s fine. What’s not so fine is that the ENTIRE page is displayed in the results. This is obviously not okay if your search is returning 50 results. Is there any way to make it so that the results page lists only links to pages maybe with abstracts?
