Search Sucks!!!! & Broken

  The search function in the forum & support documents has came under fire several times in the past for not working all that well

  It is now COMPLETELY BROKEN!!

  Was searching in the support docs and had trouble – but never fear forum answers also are given at the bottom – every one of the forum references were to Private Tickets – so when I clicked on a forum answer I got dumped back into the forum – a totally useless exercise

  Please delete Private tickets from the search results

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That’s what I call crazymaking loopback links.

  I literally never use it. I use google and search site:en.forums.wordpress.com

  I use both too but Google search is my number one search tool.

  This issue should be resolved now. Please let me know if you still run into (the same) problem when using the search box.

  I was looking for a specific link – the search string was literally a section title – foolish me thinking to search here

  Hah! Yeah, depending on what you’re looking for, our search isn’t always as effective as Google, but we are continuing to work on it so that, soon, that won’t be true any more. :)
