  I can not for the life of me find where to search for topics outside of ‘tags’ or ‘topics’ that are linked. How do I just search for my own terms or words on wordpress?

  Well. To develop better features so that we can explore this WordPress.com-community-feeling would be nice. But a community of 2½ million blogs and perhaps ten time as many people? I know, I know. Never the less. User loyalty is a fine thing.

  PS: I haven’t been able to find a search function that covers all WordPress.com blogs. If we could browse a specific theme for instance. It would be interesting to study what different bloggers have created from the same starting point. As it is now the blog surfing feature is random.

  You can do a Google search of only wordpress.com blogs with whatever keyword you choose. For example, to find blogs about dogs:

  dogs site:wordpress.com

  Just replace the keyword but keep the syntax. HTH
