Search widget in the menu

  I am using the illustratr theme and have a question:
  Is it possible to have add the search widget to the menu?

  Hi Lykke,

  Yes, the Illustratr theme offers a widget area that appears above the footer in a hidden panel. Click on the “+” link to expand and view the widgets. You can see the Search widget you added as seen here:

  Hi,

  I know that, but I want to add it to my menu and not have it hidden in the bottom – I’m afraid my users will never find the search button down there.
  It looks great but it isn’t very user-friendly, but I love the Illustratr theme, it suits my needs.

  Hi Lykke,

  Unfortunately that would not be possible as it was written into the theme this way.

  If you need a search bar that is more viewable, it might be best to change themes:

  http://theme.wordpress.com
