Search widget is not working

  I manage a book review blog and need the ability for followers to locate books and authors. I installed the search widget for this purpose but it is not working properluy.

  The search widget is working exactly as it has been designed to operate. The WordPress.com search engine indexes post, pages, and comments content (body text). Unless entered as text in those contents, blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/
