Searchable library of documents

    I am looking to build a website that will give a acces to a searchable library of documents.

    Files format to be used will be PDF, Word, Excel, Powerpoint images, etc.

    The search for documents must be possible on several fields like title, author, date, version, publisher, tags, etc.

    Any recommendation for this kind of functionality?

    Hi, sure. You’ll need a plugin that extends search capabilities to include filters and your custom fields. I’d recommend looking through these:

    Oh, adding as well, if you need the plugin to do a full text search through your documents, you’ll also want to search for that feature specifically since I doubt it’d be included in most of those listed. Hoping that helps.
