Searches – What has happened?

  I have had my blog for a long time and it was going okay, then suddenly end of last year, the searches stopped almost completely. i had been getting around 60-70 per day, now down to 15 -25 per day.. Very sad to see this happen, the searches were a guidance to what people were looking for..

  Any thoughts.. Would like to know what is happening.. Can it be WordPress or google or what? thanks..

  If you were getting a lot of referrals from Google image search then know they changed it. No one needs to click in and visit the source pages for any images, the full size high resolution images are in the Google search results. http://searchengineland.com/google-launches-streamlined-image-search-146238

  Aside from that I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful. All issues with search engines are between the blogger and the search engine http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/

  thanks for the prompt reply… Will have to read the link tomorrow.. I don’t know why they changed the searches… Seems weird to me.. Searches are a source of good feedback, for them to make such a drastic change is not very considerate.. But then…. “google” – never do evil..well, I mean!
