Searching for

Is a guy suppose to put his page name into google search having it bring it up to click on. Mine does not do that, how do you get that to function properly
-
it usually takes 4 to 7 weeks for a new site to be fully indexed by search engines and that is only if the site has something worth indexing –
I have flagged this for the staff to look at your settings as the search results I got were a bit puzzling to me – see below for help on search issues

If I search for:

…in Google, I see your site as the 7th result.

Thanks staff-ozmodiar – when I did a Google search on the URL things did not work well at all and usually a URL search will pick up something
-
As a related sidenote, I always find it confusing that people search for their URL. If someone knew their URL already, they would just enter it into the browser address bar.
Perhaps it is some sort of measure of SEO generally. I just find it odd.

I searched on the URL to see if I could find indexed content
yes many people put the URL into the search bar of a 15 minute old blog with no posts and freak out when it is not found – they also tell friends to search for the blog name – I always send the URL that can be clicked on – I put the URL into the address bar not the search box if I want to visit a site
