Searching for Old Blog I Can't Find
-
I made my original account back in like 2009 I think, but the last log in was over 2 years ago. My e-mail has changed several times (due to hacking and internet provider changes) I can not remember password or e-mail address.
I had saved a handful of online writing blogs, which most I’ve find with a simple search on google and bing, but for the life for me, one of the favorites I can not find it. Now it could be possible this person deleted their blog. Anyway, I’m going to describe the blog and it’s content, if anyone here knows about it could you link me?
It was made by an elderly gentleman, one who told me he was a former convict and was in prison many years and during those years he wrote a ton of short stories in which he posted here I believe the dates were late 2011 or early 2012 til the middle of 2013 that was when I found the blog. He wrote science fiction and I believe that was part of his blog title, but not the URL. His name was part of the URL link and I think the first was Andrew?
Here are the titles and descriptions of some of the stories he wrote:
1.)Snake Oil – about some bum, nothing guy coming across a small bottle thinking it was alcohol, but turned out to be something special that turned him into a somebody. There is a scene with a doctor
2)Poison – about a very overweight married man trying to lose weight but having symptoms as if poisoned. There are several doctor scenes and he finds out his wife has been poisoning him, but not in the usual way, she likes him fat so if he tried to lose it, it would kill him.
3)About two boys playing video games and end up in a real space ship that lands in the back yard. They take to real space and play a space invaders like battle.
4) A guy who created a non-lethal virus, is online some dating site to meet a girl and shows her the virus, something goes wrong and it’s like an A.I. that plans to take over the world
5)A prisoner trying to escape a rotten prison (there was some fowl language in it)
6) The story of the crucified Jesus, but that he is a robot from outer space and angels are robots or A.I. like robots. He leaked oil, not blood when pierced.
7) A writer who’s mother sneaks into his computer and finds some very vulgar content
8) A few about astronauts and invasions to earth…some where humors
These were all science fiction short stories, posted regularly because he had already written then before. Some the entries are posted close together.Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Hi,
I made my original account back in like 2009 I think, but the last log in was over 2 years ago.

I had saved a handful of online writing blogs…one of the favorites I can not find it. Now it could be possible this person deleted their blog.

It was made by an elderly gentleman, one who told me he was a former convict and was in prison many years and during those years he wrote a ton of short stories in which he posted here I believe the dates were late 2011 or early 2012 til the middle of 2013 that was when I found the blog.Whether you can login to your account is irrelevant to the search for the blog by the elderly gentleman, unless you’ve hidden a link to the other blog somewhere within the administrative area of a site of yours. Does a blog of yours contain a link to the gentleman’s blog, in a blogroll for example?

No, I don’t believe so. Which is why I’m posting this in hopes it will catch the eyes of someone who knows the blog I’m talking about and will link me.

Sorry. Perhaps I misunderstood. Your introduction suggested that you were trying to get into an old account:
I made my original account back in like 2009 I think, but the last log in was over 2 years ago. My e-mail has changed several times (due to hacking and internet provider changes) I can not remember password or e-mail address.
And I thought this might be relevant to the other goal.

We provide support here only for WordPress.COM hosted blogs. We do not provide support for WordPress.ORG software installs.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
Resetting your WordPress.ORG password http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_PageI’m sorry but we cannot provide accurate answers to any blogger who fails to provide the exact URL starting with http:// for the exact blog or account they refer to so we can verify where it is hosted. Please do that now.

P.S. If you are not able to provide the relevant username account, the blog URL or the blog name then this effort will not be anymore productive than your last thread here posted 6 months ago was.

Umm timethief (Miss or Mr. Hall Monitor) I am asking about WordPress(dot)Com, not Org! Pay attention maybe rather than trying to clean up the forums. I had an older account many years ago and was only active a short time before I had to leave. My life and world turned upside down, so sorry if I’m not up to date on the latest info and how different .com and .org of wordpress is, but I am and have always submitted topics here about the .com (not .org!) Purhaps you are confusing me with someone else or you didn’t read my older posts properly. I can’t entirely remember, I’m not super active here. I’m trying to be, but so much has changed and it’s not user friendly or easy to understand. Just getting a background image is not working for me, nor is changing a theme to go back to it’s default settings, so I was forced to delete the site.
I’m just looking for a blog I had originally saved, but lost the link. I have unrealizable computers and a very limited budget. I assumed forums were to help people, especially on a forum like this, to find sites or blogs people lost.
@musicdoc1 – Sorry, maybe I wasn’t quite clear in my wording, I was trying to explain my reason for searching and I feared the obvious reponses would be “check your blog follows/favorites” or attempt to get access to your older account via forget password or username. I do not have the e-mail address I signed up originally, nor can I remember it, the password or even the username. Again, it was a while back, 2009, maybe earlier and my memory isn’t that great (and no it’s not cause I’m old, I’m 27 and was born with a damaged/defective body).
Thanks for the help and notifications. I’m sorry I bothered everyone here! I won’t post on the forums again!
