Searching in vain
-
Hi I did a very specific Google search for my site which was ‘Name’ + WordPress and absolutely nowhere to be seen. No searches along those lines showed up anything. The only result at all is actually putting in the URL. Is this how it’s supposed to work?
WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
A site cannot be forced to be indexed by Google. Google and other search engines will include your site in their search results as your site grows and receives more traffic.
WordPress.com does not have any control over when or how the Search engine includes the content from search results. Content can sometimes take days or weeks to appear in search results depending on the search engine.

Hi
Sorry I don’t know much about this stuff.
I was searching for the site name rather than mine i.e. bbcaudiodrama + wordpressAre you saying the ‘bbcaudiodrama’ title should also appear throughout the site content?
Are there any other indexing tips I can use or find out?
Thanks
Harry

Hello again, As far as Title, the title of your site is HarryT.
Keep in mind that if you are trying to place high in search engine ranking for bbcaudiodrama, your competition, as it were, is the BBC itself. That’s tough competition and they’ve been at it longer, so they will more than likely will push down anyone else.
