Searching the site

It would be great if there were more ways available to search the whole site. The tags are useful, but I know for sure there are tens of thousands of blogs out there that I never get to see. It would be good to be able to search on the descriptions of the site, for instance. I say this because I’m interested in book and education blogs and can find so few. Perhaps also there could be a ‘Pretty Good Blogs’ page to accompany the ‘Best Blogs’ one, because again there’s only one book blog registered there and I can’t believe that only one is any good.

Why not start your own “Pretty Good Blogs” blog and invite some of us in as Contributers? :)

I know Collin here has started one.

I did bounce off the idea of seperating the top100 blogs into the different languages that they are registered under. Podz said he would pass that along. Hopefully we can see that soon.

And as much as I hate recomending them, you can find a sort of well created blog index here. There aren’t many WP.com blogs in there but it’s a start.

That’s not a bad idea…. I’m going to think about that seriously. I’d really welcome the chance to promote more arts sites.

    Cool.

Litlove, there is one thing I can suggest. You may want to visit your favorite search engine and try doing a search for some of the topics you are interested in but try typing in ‘site:wordpress.com’ into the search bar as well. For example

I would suggest using MSN for this as it appears that it’s picking up the site quicker than Google is. (We have a bunch of threads on that already. :)

    Hope this helps,
