Searchresult: Show whole topics

Searchresults: Show whole topics instead of the shortened ones when I get my searchresults back, how do I do that?
And also a sidequestion:
When I click on any catogery, is it possible to do the same there as with the searchresults question I mentioned above?

I don’t think you can do either; they’re written into the code by WordPress, since their functions and not just something that switches with each template. You could request those changes as options if you want.

You could send in a Feedback saying you would like it changed so that you had the option to make it work that way. Then the next time they’re upgrading the way WordPress works, they’ll consider doing that. But it wouldn’t be very useful for people who write long posts, or who have a lot of them, because it would mean too much scrolling.

We will not be showing whole topics.
We would end up with extremely long pages, images would take forever to load on some blogs. -

Yup, WordPress and WordPress.com are two seperate things. Please read the big “Read Me First” sticky at the head of the forums for an explaination.
It’s doable for a WordPress blog. Do a search for the_content where I explain the two different functions that display Post content.
Maybe if more folks would use the ‘more’ tag around here….

Thanks I found a theme witch did exactly what I wanted.

Not a problem. In your case you could always edit the theme files anyway to use the_content().
