Second admin also receiving notifications about comments

  We need a second admin to also receive notifications about pending comments to be moderated. We have gone through all the settings and followed the hints in the various support pages but to no avail. Please help.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hello there,

  Only the author of the post, as well as the site’s owner will receive notifications about pending comments. There isn’t a way to adjust this, unfortunately.

  Thank you for your reply. I am of course not happy and do not quite understand this policy. It is quite understandable when you think about personal blogs, but ours is more sth like a ‘corporate’ blog and there is a small team behind it.
  Anyway, I suppose we have to accept it. Please just explain one more thing: on https://en.support.wordpress.com/comment-notification-email/ under the heading

  Who receives comment notifications and can moderate comments?

  it says under the 4th bullet:

  Site owners receive comment notifications for all posts, and can moderate any comments. Other site administrators will not receive comment notifications unless they a) have written the post, or b) have followed the site and opted-in to receive notifications for all comments on the site.

  That made us believe it IS possible if one has the right settings.

  Sorry for any inconvenience this causes!

  What you’re seeing in the text that you quoted is that other users can subscribe to see published comments. This does not include comments still needing moderation. I can clarify this in the support document, if you felt it caused confusion!
