Second blog, copy of the first or start from scratch, to have a bilingual

  Hi there,
  I have checked all posts about bilingual blogs.

  I have the Spanish version of my blog set up,
  and I would like to know
  if I can make a copy of all settings,
  and just change language, menu, categories, and so on.

  Or … do I have to create the English version from scratch ?

  Right now I have the menu in Spanish and I was thinking of creating a sub-menu in English,
  but, after reading the forum, it seems a much better idea,
  to have 2 separate blogs in 2 separate languages.

  You can export your original blog, then import it to the second blog using the same theme (include the images). It should be a simple matter of arranging the second one to match the first.

  I have done the export-import.
  It wasn´t an exact mirror of ALL my settings,
  but it saved me a lot of time.
