Second Editor's Posts Not Showing Up On Home Page
-
I searched the forum, google and wordpress.com support before asking this question here and didn’t find anything related. So, if this is a redundant question, I’m sorry. :)
I have added a second editor to my wordpress.com site, but his first post isn’t displaying on the home page, in our featured images widget, or in our “recent articles” list on the home page, either.
I have ensured that the visibility of his post is “public” and “sticky.”
I’m using the Oxygen theme.
Any help would be fantastic.
Thanks!

Odd, I don’t know why it wouldn’t be showing up. But it’s a known issue: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/posts-not-showing-on-homepage-logged-out-when-use-visit-site?replies=4 I’ll add the Missing Post tag to this.

Now my posts aren’t showing up on the home page.
I deleted the original post, reposted and it still isn’t displaying.
Should I change my theme? This isn’t good. :(

I assume you’re referring to the two by Morgan?
They’re set as Sticky, but the featured images are not at least 750 pixels wide. Per http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/oxygen/
Keep in mind: if you mark a post as Sticky but the featured image is less than 750 pixels wide, then it won’t display in the slider and will still disappear from the river of posts.
Try removing the Sticky attribute from the posts, or provide a feature a featured image this at least 750 pixels wide.

I stand corrected. Could this be the secret of the multiple Missing Posts posts in the forum?
-
If they’re all Oxygen, then I’d say yes. :)
I’ll take a look at the other thread in a minute.

They’re not all Oxygen, but I’ve been tagging them all Missing Post. In one case, it was set as a Video post instead of Standard format.
