Secondary Sidebar & Footer
-
I recently changed my theme to Elegant Grunge because I wanted a second sidebar. However when I go on the widgets tab and try to add to the Secondary Sidebar nothing shows up. It says it is there but when I go to the actual site it is not. any ideas?

Is this the blog in question? http://marisamariephoto.wordpress.com/ If so it’s private so we can only offer limited help as we cannot see it. I set my test blog up with the Elegant Gunge theme and had zero difficulty in choosing the layout option for 2 right hand sidebars. From what you said above you are not in the correct place to do as I have done.
Go here > Themes > Appearance > Theme Options
Select the Default Layout which is on thr top row on the far right hand sie.
Click “Save Changes”Are you aware that we Volunteers do not provide support by email? Are you also aware that posting and email address in the form on a public forum like this one means it will be harvested by email harvesting spam bots? I have flagged this thread so our Moderators remove it. For posting email addresses safely see > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2007/10/18/eluding-email-address-spam-bots/

The instructions are the same:
Go here > Themes > Appearance > Theme Options
Select the Default Layout which is on thr top row on the far right hand sie.
Click “Save Changes”If that doesn’t work on your blog then you will have to contact Staff > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

No. I’m sorry but only Moderators and Staff can remove or edit threads. We can’t.
P.S. Don’t post your email address in that form on your blog either if you doen’t want a wagon load of spam to remove every day.
