Section 508
-
Is WordPress.com core/host Section 508 and PIPEDA compliant? Are there plugins that enable this compliance?
-
Isn’t PIPEDA applicable just to companies located in Canada? Isn’t Section 508 applicable just to the US government and companies under contract to the government?
There have been a number of changes made at WordPress.com and most companies active on the Internet since the EU introduction of the GDPR which is a similar thing to PIPEDA regarding privacy, cookies and stored information. Perhaps these links will give you all the information you need:

However I have added the modlook tag to ask if a member of staff could reply to you. -
yes it’s exactly as you said. I’m based in Canada and plan to work in north America, so my site needs compliance with these two and many other factors. So, should I conclude that WordPress.com is not complaint with section 508 and PIPEDA?
and I have many other questions on security. Shall I ask them here?I have the same concern on host/CMS regarding LDAP, SAML 2.0, EU NIS, SSO and ADFS.

Hi –
I’ll try and find you some documentation. Do you plan to run a standalone WordPress installation or use WordPress.com? These are 2 very different things.

Hi
I want to be WordPress.com (NOT wordpress.org) subscriber but I need to make sure that .com will get the factors that I need before deciding to pay -
Hi @aslanhomefoods, we’re checking into this for you, but of course with multiple specifications you’re trying to meet, this is a rather complex question.
Can you let us know what specific technical requirements you need on our platform to be complaint in these various specs?
