secure connexion failed
-
Hi,
I can’t connect anymore to my blog or my dashbord since a few days.
With Firefox it’s written “secure connexion failed” (actually in french “échec de la connexion sécurisée”) and I can’t create an exception in security options because there isn’t any valid certificate available.
Same thing with Internet explorer and Chrome.
I already tried to desable cookies, to clear the cache and to delete browsing history.
I use Firefox’s last version (42).
Would anybody please help me ?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s strange; I can see your site fine. Can you try connecting, using a different network, to see if it it’s related to your ISP or network?

I tried using a different network : the problem remains. But the network I connected is the same ISP than the one I usually use. I can’t connect to another ISP from home because I don’t have any ID and password.

I’m not sure I follow. Are you currently connecting to your site from work? If so, another possibility is that your employer is blocking access to WordPress.com blogs.
In any case, my best advice is to try accessing your site from a different ISP, whether at home, a friend’s house, or elsewhere. Let me know what you find!

Sorry for my english, it’s hard for me to speak about technical subjects.
I can’t connect to my site from home, with my computer and my wife’s computer.
But I can connect from home with my tablet, wifi connected to my network, and mobile phone, mobile phone network connected. So I guess the problem doesn’t come from my network.
I can connect from work, but I don’t know what ISP my work uses.
A friend of mine can connect to my blog from his home with a different ISP than mine.
Another friend of mine can connect to my blog from his home with the same ISP than mine.So I guess the problem doesn’t come from the ISP either.
Hope I was clearer this time. Thx for your help.

Hi again,
I don’t know if you did something, but I can now connect to my site ! This is great !
Well, a problem remains, mozilla says my site isn’t safe, with a little lock and a yellow warning sign on the left of the adress bar, and I don’t like very much that… -

The lock you mention is a sign that your site is embedding insecure images or other assets, while the site itself is served over HTTPS. You can embed the images in most cases, using HTTPS instead of HTTP in the beginning of their URL. Or you can safely disregard the padlock.

Ok, I’ll see what I’ll do. To search for the insecure images will probably be a little boring…
Well I don’t know whether you solved the problem or the problem solved itself, but thank you very much for your help.

I’m still able to visit your site just fine.
As I mentioned, my best advice is to try accessing your site from a different ISP, whether at home, a friend’s house, or elsewhere. You should then contact your ISP to let them know of the issue.
