Securing my WordPress Blog

  Hi,

  I have a blog hosted on wordpress at the url http://www.jamdownfoodie.com. It was created by someone abroad that I found on Fivver. I am the administrator on the account but I am having trouble securing the account. The email attached to the account is (email visible only to moderators and staff) which was recently changed by me but I am not able to login to wordpress.com to turn on two factor verification etc. Someone who I was working with and outsourcing work to for the page, has recently attempted to lock me out in Pakistan. I desperately need help to secure the page so I dont lose more than 1 year’s worth of work. Please help if you can.

  Hi,

  I’m not seeing any record of that domain or your site ever being registered or hosted here at WordPress.com.

  Could you have built a site with the open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org and hosted it elsewhere?

  Yes. Its on wordpress.org but hosted on hostinger. Ill read the article. Thank you.

  How will I ensure that google analytics is still available after the import? I am approved for adsense etc. Will that also import to the new page?

  I’ve completed the full import. How do I transfer the domain name. I think the page is also set to private. How do I change that?

  To transfer your domain name here, you can follow the steps on this page:

  https://wordpress.com/support/domains/incoming-domain-transfer/

  New sites are set to Private until you’re ready to launch the site. Then, go to Settings → General and click the Launch site button to launch your site.

  Also, now that you have a Business plan, you have access to priority email and live chat support. You can access this priority support from your account page, where you can get help more quickly than by posting in the free public support forums.
