    HI WordPress reps. This is just an FYI. I linked my blog to various accounts including Google. This morning, Google complained to me about WordPress: ‘Your account is vulnerable to malicious activity because you’re allowing apps & devices that use less secure sign-in technology to access your account. You should turn off this type of access.’ I thguht you should know.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Please read this support doc https://en.support.wordpress.com/https-ssl/

    Know that all wordpress.com sites are SSL encrypted sites and all URLs start with https://

    Hi katerauner,

    I linked my blog to various accounts including Google.

    The only Google connection on your account is for Publicize but it doesn’t sound like the warning is related to that.

    This morning, Google complained to me about WordPress

    The error message doesn’t mention WordPress specifically, can you tell me why you think this error message is directly related to that?

    @timethief
    — thanks for adding the SSL information.
