  I was sent an email that says: ‘Someone recently requested that the password be reset for gatheringblackwool.’ The person who requested a new password was not me. What do I do from here? Can I find out who this person is?

  Hi there, sadly you cannot find out who requested this. Anyone can request a password reset with just a username, the best thing to do from here is to just ignore the email.

  I’d also suggest highly recommend using 2 Step Verification: https://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/

  But don’t worry about the password reset emails, there’s no harm which can come from them. :)
