  If you delete and re-create the Gravatar widget, it should include the HTTPS link.

  staff-blorbo ok I’ve deleted it and re-added it, still not secure. Perhaps, there is another solution?

  Ok, wait, sorry, I see what’s going on.

  It’s linked to http://en.gravatar.com/theartistinsideout which is not secure.

  But, that does redirect to https://en.gravatar.com/theartistinsideout anyway, which is secure.

  We’ll take a look at this, but please be assured this has absolutely no affect on your site’s security.

  ok thanks, that’s good to know at least. But I don’t want others to see it and think I’m not secure either. Let me know when you figure it out. Thanks for the help.

  External links are not considered part of the security of your site, and the link will immediately redirect to the HTTPS version anyway, don’t worry. :)

  Folks generally aren’t looking that close, and if they are, they’re wrong anyway. Think about how many HTTP links are still floating around Wikipedia, for example. ;)

  Wait, so when a user clicks it redirects? But not when I click? it just stays on “not secure”. hmmm interesting. Okay.

  Yep, there’s a permanent redirect from http:// to https:// on Gravatar.

  That’s odd you’re not being redirected though.

  First, please make sure that your browser is up to date: https://browsehappy.com/

  If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.

  If it is, please do these two things:

  1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies.

  2. Try with all browser extensions or add-ons temporarily disabled.

  Please let us know how each step goes for you, and which browser (and version of) you’re using if you’re still having trouble.

  staff-blorbo -ok I am up to date in Google Chrome, version 85

  I cleared cache/cookies
  temp disabled extensions.

  But, Still not secure when I click on my Gravatar image, on my blog. BUT, when I sign into Gravatar account, it is secure?

  Hm, you are right. It’s not redirecting under Chrome when logged out.
