I am getting constant emails about new users on the website please help immediately. I can be reached at +[redacted by staff] tomorrow
The site I need help with is [visible only to staff] (email visible only to moderators and staff). It is not hosted by WordPress.com or connected with Jetpack. This site is not linked to my WordPress.com account.

Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider. We’re only able to help with sites hosted on our servers at WordPress.com.
Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:

From what you describe, you have the option to allow guest-accounts on your site enabled. You can disable that at Settings ->General in the dashboard.
