security certificate

  Hi, I’ve been to the forum, but can’t find what I need! My security certificate has expired, and I can’t get to my site or to the backend. I’m fearing the worst. My site is dougsblog.org. Any help appreciated.

  Hi @douglasbrouwer – it looks like your site is not hosted at WordPress.com (what these forums are for) and yes, I see the certificate expired yesterday. Many hosts will update those certificates automatically, but maybe your host did not.

  I recommend talking to your website hosting company directly and ask them about it. You can also TRY to log in to your site with just http:// at the start or even as https try click the Advanced button that comes up and just bypass the warning until your host gets the certificate updated.
