Security certificate issues making site inaccessible
-
Hi,
As of last night, my site (https://nhg.kqr.mybluehost.me) has been generating security warnings for anyone who attempts to visit it. I’m using Safari on El Capitan, but it’s also occurring on Chrome and Firefox on Mac and Windows. On Safari, I can bypass the warning and choose to visit the site, but I’m not asking my readers to do that (nor is it very practical to instruct every visitor to do so).
From what I can tell from research/reading, this has to do with SSL certificates and the browser wanting to fetch seemingly non-secure content. My site is VERY basic — essentially just text pasted into the WordPress editor and posted, with images uploaded and hosted right here. The only ‘outside’ content is an embedded YouTube video (which has an https:// prefix) and links to plain HTML and PDFs on an old site.
Does anyone have any insight as to how to rectify this? I tried disabling the Colorbox plug-in, to no avail. (I’ve since reactivated both because it didn’t seem to work and in case it’s actually the cause of a problem and someone might be able to spot that).
Thanks in advance!

FYI, the blog in question is NOT http://whathappensinsalem.wordpress.com. WordPress “helpfully” autofilled that.
It is https://nhg.kqr.mybluehost.me, as specified near the top of the original message.

Hi there,
The forum you’ve posted this thread in only provides support for sites hosted here at WordPress.com.
If you need help setting up an SSL certificate correctly on a WordPress site hosted with Bluehost, please try contacting Bluehost for support, or try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
To learn about the differences between the two versions of WordPress (.com vs.org), please see this guide.
Good luck!
