Custom header images must be jpg, gif or png file types only. Make sure the file name has an extension, and make sure there are no spaces or special characters in the file name, only letters and numbers.

ok thanks but how do I know if the picture is jpg gif png file, how do i make pictures like that, and how do I make the file have an extention?

When you create the image and then save it to upload it to your blog, you have to save it as one of those file types.

Open the image in an image editing program, click “save as” and then in the file type pulldown select jpg, gif or png. If the save as window does not give you those options, you might have to do an export of the image. Each program could be different in that respect.
