Security issue — someone using my email

    I am trying to change the email address associated with my account. When I attempt to change it to my current email address, I receive an error notice saying that email is already in use. But when I attempt to log in to WordPress using that new email which it says is already in use, I get a message that the email doesn’t exist in the system.

    I don’t know what to do and I’m surprised WordPress doesn’t have employees or support staff to help out since this could be a security issue.

    Any email addresses left in the forums will be redacted from public view, but staff members will be able to see them. :)
