    Hello, for two days, a verification code has arrived, two-step verification has been included, but who is trying to enter my account and how do I provide it? Thank you!!!

    2 step verification is an additional security measure to ensure the safety of your account.

    When you enable 2 step verification for your WordPress.com account, you have to enter the 2 step verification code sent to your mobile number at the time of login.

    If you are receiving codes without you trying to login, it probably means that someone else is trying to login into your WordPress.com account and you should not share your 2 step verification code with that person, if they ask for it.

    When you share that code, they gain access to your account.

    2 step verification is designed explicitly for this purpose – to ensure the security of your WordPress.com accounts.

    Unless you are the one trying to login, do not share your 2 step verification with anyone/anywhere.

    Your account will remain safe until you continue to maintain that.
