  Can’t connect my wordpress to my ipod authenticatior and I can’t get backup codes to generate. since I have a ipod and not a phone I don’t have a phone number to it. I already have the app downloaded on it from where it use to be connected but it lost connection.

  Hi,

  You don’t need to use the same phone number for your device, but any cell phone numbers. We use that as a backup to the backup codes if you lose access to the app and your backup codes.

  Are you unable to access your account in some way or unable to connect the app?

  The backup codes need to be generated on a desktop computer.
