Security — Unauthorized access to blog — "AntiLeech" message
-
Someone has added an unauthorized image to my blog. It is in the “manifesto” blog page. The image is a cartoon-like portrait of a prisoner being photographed in the booking process. There are 2 lines of text “Widescreenwallpapers.net” on the top, and “anti-leach” where the prisoner’s name should go on the bottom.
Wiedscreenwallpapers appears to be a legitimate site so probably the image was taken from that site. Anti-leech apparently refers to applications that prevent hackers from “leech” content and bandwidth from my site.
Background:
— I did not use third party registrar options when registering my domain.
— I have not been careful to log-out when leaving my domain
— No one has had access to the laptops or android phone I use, they are all in my house
— I use a home wireless network (I have not used a public network).
— The SSID is not broadcasted, however there is no WAP or other password protection
— Only family members have been exposed to the SSID, no one else
— I checked my android phone and found I was logged in on it
— I left the offending image on my site (on the “Manifesto” blog page) to help with troubleshootingOther than being careful to sign out before I leave the blog, is there anything I should do?
