Seedlet Theme: Feature Image displays on posts and Headings
-
Hi there
When you upload a featured image it appears at the top of the blog post under the heading. Is there away to stop it from doing this without having to remove the image entirely as I still want it to appear as a ‘thumbnail’ in the link to the blog post on the blog?
Also, is there a way to customise the headings for blog posts?
Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi,
Hiding the featured image on a single page or post
There is currently no way to do this in the Seedlet theme without making use of custom CSS rules which is Premium plan or higher feature of WordPress.com
https://wordpress.com/support/custom-design/editing-css/
This particular request comes up from time to time in our CSS customization forum,
https://wordpress.com/forums/forum/css-customization/
Since the solution usually requires theme specific CSS rules I suggest making a new post in the CSS forum once you are able to add custom CSS to your site with a Premium plan.
Customizing the headings for blog posts
There are some typography options available in the Heading block settings while you’re in the editor.
https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/heading-block/
These will options will apply to headings within the post content itself. Depending on theme (e.g. Seedlet) these styling options are not likely to apply to the page title heading at the top of the page.
Like altering featured images, custom CSS rules are another option for specific heading customizations.
