Seeing endless redirects when hitting hosted domains on wordpress.com

  Hey folks, whenever I’m using any Webkit based browser on my phone running Android 2.2 I’m seeing endless redirects when I hit any site that has a domain pointing to a wordpress.com blog. Examples are http://listverse.com and http://thedailywh.at

  I’m not seeing any issues myself. Perhaps there’s just an issue with your phone provider’s DNS servers?

  Are you only experiencing the problem on your phone?

  staff-blorbo: I’m seeing the endless redirects when using wireless and using OpenDNS and when using Sprint’s 3G network. It only recently started happening so I was curious to know if you guys had changed your mod_rewrites for mobile sites or something.

  There haven’t been any changed like that.

  I’m unable to reproduce this myself over my home network with OpenDNS, Virgin Mobile’s network with their DNS, ir AT&T with their DNS.

  Has there been any improvement on your end?

  Whatever it was appears to have cleared up as of this morning as I’m able to hit the above-mentioned sites again.
