Seeing hits on Both Home and Welcome Pages

  I have set up a static front page but in my stats, I see hits on both the “Home” page and “Welcome” page. Should I just use the total of the two as the number of hits to my front page? How are people hitting my Home page?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
