seeing subscribers
-
From what I’ve read in the Subscription support area, I am supposed to be able to see a “Blog Subscribers” box on my blog stat page. I do not have that box. I can see the number of views, referrer links, etc., but I can’t see who is subscribed. I have two different wordpress.com blogs – and neither have this option – both use the RSS subscription WordPress widget.
http://infohighway.wordpress.com and http://openphd.wordpress.com
Am I supposed to have this option? If so, am I looking in the wrong place?
Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

WordPress.com does not display RSS subscribers stats. It does show number of syndicated views for each post. You may have to switch to Google feed burner if you need accurate blog subscribers.

I may be completely wrong about this and this is my first time posting in the forums but, it seems to me that WordPress is in the middle of updating. I think we’ll all be able to see the Subscriber Stats soon… maybe in a few days or something. I don’t know, but, it seems that way.

WordPress.COM had a beta RSS feed stats thing a long time ago but abandoned it. The problem is that if feedburner pulls a feed from here, wordpress sees 1 access of that feed, but feedburner may have 50 people getting that feed from them. Multiply that by about 40 different feed readers out there and you can see the problems that can arise when trying to give any sort of meaningful stats.

On my Stats page I have two Subscriber lines, one for “blog” and one for “posts”. It’s located near the very bottom of the page. You have nothing there?
But I have no idea what these numbers are. I don’t know the dif between blog and post, and IAC the numbers don’t correspond to Feedburner’s numbers. I thought they might be RSS subs – which would be nice, since I’m totally blind to my RSS numbers at the moment. But I’m really not sure what they signify.

you are able to see who your subscribers are by accessing your “stats” page, then down the bottom left hand corner there is information on “email subscribers”. if you currently have any subscribers, it will say next to “blog”- “___active” if you click on this you are able to see the users that are subscribed to your blog.
