Seeking CSS Customization Help For Mistylook (Comments and Categories)
-
Hi there!
Noob here with the coding… I can generally find what I’m looking for via Google but I’m having no luck with this tweek. Hopefully, someone here can help!
On my homepage (www.thoughtfuledits.com), I would like to ditch the “posted in” category tags at the bottom of each post.
I would also like to customize the comment text to read “Your Thoughts?” (in place of “No Comments”) and “6 Thoughts) (in place of “6 Comments”).
Can I delete the category posts (without deleting individual post comments… I’ve found code to delete both but I don’t want to lose comments on my homepage)?
Also, can I customize the comment text on the homepage?
Thank you so much for any help you can offer!

To hide the category tags in posts on the MistyLook theme, try this:
.post-info { display: none; }That will also remove the comments link on the home page because the categories and comment link are all in one container in the HTML.

I’m sorry but there isn’t a way to change out the text label for comments using CSS only on a WordPress.com blog.

The posts and the comments are tied together. If you delete a post with comments, both the post and the comments for that post will be removed.
Categories are separate from posts and comments. If you remove a category from a post, then the post won’t be listed in the category any more and both the post and the comment will still exist separate from the category.

I’m sorry to say that’s not a possibility here at WordPress.com.
