Seeking strategic advice

    What are my best next steps given these goals:
    1. Change old blog to a new .wordpress.com name (leaving current followers/views intact).
    2. Link newly named .wordpress.com site to a website of the same name (already purchased domain name via google domains).
    3. Have the blog be a part of my website – not the entirety of the site but an important part.

    Hi there,

    1. Change old blog to a new .wordpress.com name (leaving current followers/views intact).

    You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

    Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username.

    2. Link newly named .wordpress.com site to a website of the same name (already purchased domain name via google domains).

    You can either keep the domain at its current host and point the nameservers of the domain over to WordPress.com:

    Or, you can transfer the domain over to WordPress.com and have both the site and domain hosted here.

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/

    You can only move the domain once it has been registered for 60 + days.

    3. Have the blog be a part of my website – not the entirety of the site but an important part.

    A blog can be a part of a site with multiple pages. You can create a website with a static homepage and then create a post page for your blog content. Then, set up a blog menu to link to the post page. For more information, please read our support pages:
